Tell Your Story–Together
We are back for another year of Awesome Ladies Live in July 2026 here in beautiful East Lansing, Michigan.

Optional Friday Add-On: Self-Guided Day (July 24, 2026)
If you can swing it, we highly encourage arriving early on Friday for a cozy, low-key start to the weekend. There’s so much fun stuff to do around town—wander downtown East Lansing, take a campus walk, and soak in the summer vibes.
A few favorites:
-
MSU Surplus Store (open Fridays only, until 3:30pm)
-
MSU Botanical Gardens
-
Ice cream at the MSU Dairy Store
-
Cute downtown shops, coffee, and easy photo spots
Friday evening will include two optional, casual hangouts:
-
Casual dinner downtown (TBD): time and exact location will be shared after registration. This is also when I’ll likely have baby Charlotte around for a quick hello—nothing set in stone, we’ll be going off the baby’s schedule.
-
Lobby crafting at the Graduate: after dinner, we’ll wind down with impromptu crafting + chatting in the hotel lobby. There’s an amazing big table that’s basically made for paper people.
Important notes: Friday is open to everyone coming to Awesome Ladies Live (including locals and commuters). There is no official event staff on Friday, and you can participate totally solo and still have an amazing time. All Friday details will be finalized by July 15, 2026 and posted in your attendee guide/dashboard after you register.
Lodging

Awesome Ladies Live 2026 is at one of our favorite local venues: The Graduate East Lansing. I chose this location because it is absolutely adorable. It’s such a great spot for photos and for its walkability to the entire downtown East Lansing area, including several awesome restaurants, coffee shops, and the Michigan State campus.
There are also dozens of other hotels within a 10-minute drive of our event location. Please use whatever lodging is right for you!
Coming in on Friday? A lot of attendees book Friday + Saturday nights so they can enjoy the optional self-guided Friday fun and start the weekend feeling settled.

Community Care (Code of Conduct)
Awesome Ladies Live is a feminist, inclusive community space. Respect people’s identities, boundaries, and stories. No harassment, no bigotry, no “debate me” energy. If something feels off, tell Kristin or an event helper right away—we’ll take it seriously and address it.
