I am so unbelievably excited to bring back Awesome Ladies Live in July 2023 here in beautiful East Lansing, Michigan.
You are the storyteller. Your stories matter – now more than ever. There are women out there that feel the exact same way. This retreat is about spending a weekend with rukristin + the Awesome Ladies, taking fun, never-before-seen creative courses that will teach you tips, tricks, and techniques for documenting your life in a way that makes you feel empowered, impassioned and works for your life.
What do Awesome Ladies Live attendees get?

- Full-day retreat Saturday 9-6 (two classes — morning & late afternoon)
- Full-day retreat Sunday 9-6 (two classes — morning & late afternoon)
- Three meals (breakfast on both days and lunch on Saturday)
- All supplies needed for all four classes (please feel free to bring any of your favorite supplies)
- And even more (swag, optional events, etc.)!
The price does not include lodging. We have a room rate at the Graduate East Lansing, where our event will be held. You will receive this information upon registration.
Lodging
Awesome Ladies Live 2023 is at one of our favorite local venues: The Graduate East Lansing. I chose this location because it is absolutely adorable. It’s such a great spot for photos and for its walkability to the entire downtown East Lansing area, including several awesome restaurants, coffee shops, and the Michigan State campus.
Our group rate will be included in your registration information (it’ll be in a PDF you can download), after you check out.
There are also dozens of other hotels within a 10-minute drive of our event location. Please use whatever lodging is right for you!
Policies
There are payment plans available through PayPal. That option will be given to you when you check out.
The purchase of this event will be a final sale. No refunds will be given. Spots are transferrable. Please email me at rukristin@theawesomeladiesproject to arrange the transfer of your spot.

Travel
Car Travel: Awesome Ladies Live is being held at The Graduate East Lansing, located at 133 Evergreen Ave, in East Lansing, MI 48823.
It’s an hour’s drive from Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint, and Grand Rapids. It’s 3.5 hours from Chicago, Cleveland, and Indianapolis. It’s a super easy weekend drive for so many Midwesterners! It is easily accessed from interstate highways 96, 69, 94, and 75.
Air Travel: Easiest Airport: Detroit (DTW)
Transportation from Detroit Airport to East Lansing: www.michiganflyer.com (goes directly from the Detroit Airport to the event hotel).
Other area airports: Lansing (LAN), Grand Rapids (GRR), and Flint (FNT)
**If you are international — Consider coming into one of the Chicago airports O’Hare (ORD) or Midway (MDW), and taking the train directly to East Lansing.
Train Travel: East Lansing has an Amtrak station right on the edge of campus, coded LNS in the Amtrak route system.
Getting Around East Lansing: Uber and Lyft both operate in East Lansing, as well as CATA – an excellent regional bus system, with more information at www.cata.org. There are also lots of Awesome Ladies who are always willing to carpool as well.
