This week’s feminist scrapbooking prompt: Where are you from?

Where are you from? What city, what state, what country, what town? What does it mean to you, if anything at all?

The places we’ve lived, or the places that we’re from, can have a big impact on the stories of who we are. They’re a huge part of our lived-in experiences, the people we interact with, the cultural norms we’re accustomed to and more.

Here are some additional ideas:

• Where are you living right now?
• List all the places you lived when you grew up (or ever)
• What are some of the defining characteristics of where you’re from?
• Draw/sketch/storyboard a map of where you’re from
