Where are You From?
This week’s feminist scrapbooking prompt: Where are you from?
Where are you from? What city, what state, what country, what town? What does it mean to you, if anything at all?
The places we’ve lived, or the places that we’re from, can have a big impact on the stories of who we are. They’re a huge part of our lived-in experiences, the people we interact with, the cultural norms we’re accustomed to and more.

Here are some additional ideas:
- Where are you living right now?
- List all the places you lived when you grew up (or ever)
- What are some of the defining characteristics of where you’re from?
- Draw/sketch/storyboard a map of where you’re from
Use this feminist scrapbooking prompt or any of the additional ideas in a creative project this week and share it with us here on the ALP. You can upload it to your personal gallery or your favorite social media application. Link up your project in the comment section below to share it with the rest of the Awesome Ladies.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Creative Catalyst: Big Photograph
Feeling stuck? Looking for a place to start? Use creative catalysts to take the introspective prompts and anchor it down with a creative way to get started on your project.
This week, your creative catalyst bonus challenge is to incorporate a large photograph into your project. This can be a photo you took, or a cut out from a magazine, a reprint of an old family photo, etc[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Can’t wait to see what you make!
