Prompt: What Does A Sick Day Look Like?

What Does a Sick Day Look Like?

This week’s feminist scrapbooking prompt: What Does a Sick Day Look Like?

What does your sick day look like? Do you get sick often or are you a once in a blue moon sick type person?

Are you the type of person that spends your sick day on the couch binge watching Netflix? Are you the type of person that spends your sick day doing everything you do during a normal day, but with an extra pack of tissues in your pocket?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_images_carousel images=”22821,22822,22823″ img_size=”full” autoplay=”yes”][vc_column_text]

Here are some additional ideas:

  • What’s your favorite sick day food?
  • What do you do on a mental health day?
  • If you have an illness that is a part of your everyday life, what does that look like?

Use this feminist scrapbooking prompt or any of the additional ideas in a creative project this week and share it with us here on the ALP. You can upload it to your personal gallery or your favorite social media application. Link up your project in the comment section below to share it with the rest of the Awesome Ladies.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Creative Catalyst: Layering

Feeling stuck? Looking for a place to start? Use creative catalysts to take the introspective prompts and anchor it down with a creative way to get started on your project.

This week’s catalyst is to incorporate layering into your project. Think different patterned papers, vellum, acetate, washi tape, etc. I like to use layering in my projects when I’m trying to express complicated emotions or things that just don’t exist in black and white — which is especially true for sick time or down and out time.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Can’t wait to see what you make!
