Tutorial: DIY Single Sheet Mini-Album
Creating a mini-album has never been easier. In today’s tutorial, I’ll be sharing step-by-step instructions on how to create a scrapbook mini-album out of a single sheet of letter-sized paper. Scroll down to learn more.
Supplies Needed:

- Basic supply kit
- 8.5×11″ white cardstock
- Washi tape
- Scissors or Paper Trimmer
- Alphabet stamps
- Ephemera/Embellishments
Step One

Start by grabbing a sheet of letter sized (8.5×11) white cardstock. You can also make this mini-album with standard printer paper, but it will be significantly more flimsy.
Step Two

Trim the sheet of cardstock down into three equal pieces, each 3.5″ by 11″. You’ll have a tiny strip left over, you can just toss that strip. We won’t be using it in this project.
Step Three

Next, take a sheet of the trimmed cardstock, and fold it in half width-wise. You’ll end up with a sheet that’s 3.5″ by 5.5″ when folded. Repeat for the other two sheets of trimmed cardstock.
Step Four

After you fold each sheet. Stack the three sheets on top of one another so that the seams directly overlap.
Step Five

Now that we’ve crafted the bones of the album; next we’ll be binding the pages together. Start by opening up to the first set of pages in the booklet.
Step Six

Rip off a strip of washi tape, slightly longer than the 3.5″ width of the booklet. Press down the washi tape along the seam. Repeat for each page spread.
Step Seven

Trim off the excess washi tape from the top and bottom of the album pages.
Step Eight

Add some washi tape to the front and back cover along the left side of the album, to create a faux binding look. You’re now totally ready to decorate the cover and the inside pages of your new DIY mini-album.
This is so cool!
