I’ve partnered once again with Everyday Explorers Co. We’ve created an exclusive Stamp Glamp kit with all of the stamps you’ll need for each of the workshops, as well as my favorite stamp block and ink pad. The kit is so cool!
This kit is a separate purchase to keep both the cost of the retreat down and so that if you’ve already got supplies that you want to use — you go ahead and use those instead.
Stamp Glamp Workshops
There are three brand new live workshops included in this retreat. These workshops will all be held on Saturday, December 11th. All times are Eastern. Workshops will be around 70-80 minutes.
Workshop #1 – Noon
Everyday Stamping + Storytelling in Your December Album
We’ll ease into the educational portion of the retreat with some tips and tricks for everyday stamping.
Inside this workshop, we’ll tackle subjects like:
- How to use stamps to journal
- How stamps can be the inspiration for a story
- How to use stamps to help tell your story (with and without words)
- How to tell multiple simple stories with the help of prompt stamps
Stamp sets I’ll be using: Mealtime Lists, Markup (both of these are in the Stamp Glamp Kit — available soon)
Other Supplies I’ll be using: Basic crafting kit, black stamping ink, ALP printable tags — both sets (inside the Digital Knapsack), white cardstock, food/recipe photos.
Workshop #2 – 3 PM
Mix + Match Combining Text & Image Stamps to Tell Your Story
Our second workshop will feature some fun intermediate stamping and empowering storytelling!
Inside this workshop, we’ll tackle subjects like:
- How to use stamps that have seperate outline and fill-in sections (in multiple different ways)
- How to use stamps to create a layered paper piecing in whatever colors you want
- How to use text stamps and image stamps together without cluttering your project
Stamp sets I’ll be using: Try Your Best (also in the Stamp Glamp Kit — available soon)
Other Supplies I’ll be using: Basic crafting kit, black stamping ink, 2+ colors of stamping ink, white cardstock, patterned paper and/or colored cardstock, selfie photos.
Workshop #3 – 6 PM
Killer Backgrounds + Matching Embellishments with a Single Stamp Set
Our final workshop is a long-requested workshop! And one that I’m so excited to finally bring to the ALP! I’ll be sharing with you, how to create a colorful background, stamp a layer on top, cut it all up, and rearrange it on the page for an amazing background that will look just killer.
Inside this workshop, we’ll tackle subjects like:
- Picking out colors to create your background
- How to use stamps to create a layered paper piecing in whatever colors you want
- How to use text stamps and image stamps together without cluttering your project
Stamp sets I’ll be using: Try Your Best (also in the Stamp Glamp Kit — available soon)
Other Supplies I’ll be using: Basic crafting kit, black stamping ink, 2+ colors of stamping ink, white cardstock, patterned paper and/or colored cardstock, selfie photos.
Stamp Glamp Digital Knapsack
The Stamp Glamp Digital Knapsack is a collection of digital items (playlists, checklists, printables, etc) that will help you have an awesome time here during the Stamp Glamp retreat.
You can access these items inside the Stamp Glamp retreat classroom. Each item is housed inside its own lesson. Some of these items are up right now, and some of these items are coming soon and will be up before Stamp Glamp weekend.
Stamp Glamp Campground
We have a private group for the Stamp Glamp retreat. It has the same functions as all of the other ALP groups. The only difference is that it is attached to the Stamp Glamp retreat classroom and only members of the retreat are able to use it.
It has an activity feed, a forum, and it does have its own gallery. I personally recommend that you post all of your Stamp Glamp projects to the main activity feed so that they end up in your own personal gallery, but you are free to add your photos wherever you like. But please feel free to share GIFs, other fun stamping photos, and anything Stamp Glamp related, inside the group!
This group will not go away. You will have access to the Stamp Glamp Campground as long as you remain a member of the Awesome Ladies Project community.
