This is Me: rukristin’s new workshop at Big Picture Classes

rukristin for big picture classes

I am SO excited about my new class This is Me | Mini Album at Big Picture Classes.  I’ve been working and creating for this class for a while now and I’m just so happy to share it with you.

I’ve teamed up with Big Picture Classes to create a brand new workshop teaching some of her FAVORITE interactive scrapbook mini-album techniques. We’ll make an entire right-now all about me mini-album, and it will be SO COOL. You’ll be able to use these techniques over and over again in scrapbooks, art journals, mini-albums and whatever other cool crafty projects you’re cooking up.

In the easy and fun to use classroom, you’ll get to watch fifteen (!) different videos I wrote, recorded, and produced about the project and the process.  When you flip through this album later this week, month, year or decade, you will have an invaluable snapshot of who you were, what you were thinking and so much more.

Working through the fun and interactive lessons will get you to think and create.  While I made a mini-album, the lessons and almost all of the process tutorials can and will apply to any journaling and creation technique you can think of – art journaling, planner, pocket pages, traditional scrapbook layouts, digital scrapbooking and more.

What do I get in this workshop?

  • Eight lessons
  • Album and project preparation techniques
  • In-depth introspective all about me prompts
  • Fifteen videos — both technique and process
  • Exclusive PDF workbook
  • Incredible interactive paper-crafting techniques to use over and over will I learn in this workshop?

  • How to document your own right-now “all about me” stories
  • How to create an interactive DIY mini-album
  • How to create a DIY fold-out mini-album page
  • How to create interactive pocket page embellishments
  • How to construct your own DIY patterned paper
  • How to construct your own stamped patterned pocket cards

As I’m starting to build up my scrapbooking stash, I’m trying to navigate buying supplies that I will actually use and not just accumulating a bunch of product. I want to make my photos and stories the center of my projects, but of course I still want cute embellishments. Any advice so that I don’t get caught up in buying all the things?
