Meet the 2025 ALP Creative Team!

I’m thrilled to introduce the incredible creatives who make up this year’s ALP Creative Team! These awesome ladies are here to inspire you, share their stories, and champion the power of feminist scrapbooking. Each team member brings their own style, perspective, and voice—and I can’t wait for you to get to know them.

Throughout the year, they’ll be sharing monthly challenge projects, contributing behind-the-scenes inspiration, and helping us celebrate creative storytelling in all its forms.

What is the ALP Creative Team?

The Creative Team is a group of community members who create projects each month based on our ALP Challenges. Their work helps spark ideas, showcase different creative styles, and keep the community vibrant and welcoming.

Now, let’s meet the team

✨ Aimee

Location: Michigan, USA

About Me

I am a Creativity Coach and Maker from Sterling Heights, Michigan. I create mostly with paper in two and three dimensions, whether memory keeping, art & junk journaling or creating framed cities. I would say that my style is quite eclectic, usually with a bold vibe.

What I Like to Make

I have worked in all sizes from mini albums to 12 x 12 pages, but I think my favorite is working in a memory planner. I like to go back and see how full my life is. I take a LOT of pictures, so my pages reflect that. I love bold patterns, bright colors and interactive elements.

✨ Carol Anne

Location: Minnesota, USA

About Me

I’m a scrapbooker, crocheter, occasional card and bookmaker, and a Daily Pages devotee. Florals and saturated colors are my go-tos, and I experiment with all kinds of media.

What I Like to Make

My go-to scrapbook page is 12×12 featuring my football adventures, the dogs, and life in general. I scrapbook both in digital and analog formats. I like to experiment with different book sizes for Daily Pages, and occasionally make my own DP books. For Book of Me my go-to format is 6 x 8, using my Vicki Boutin stash.

✨ Carrie

Location: Washington, USA

About Me

I am from WA state and have been scrapping for over 20 years now! I have done all the sizes at one time or another but currently doing 6×8 mostly and some random size handmade books/junk journals. My vibe is all the colors and all the patterns, rainbow order is my obsession.

What I Like to Make

I do not have a set style, size or theme! I love paper, and color…sometimes photos and words, quotes and lyrics more than journaling! I’m easily influenced and have good ideas that rarely get finished.

✨ Christine P.

Location: New Jersey, USA

About Me

I’m a scrapbooker, memory keeper, and a dabbler in acrylic paints, watercolors, collage and lots of other mixed media. My style varies from clean and simple to all the things, depending on my mood and medium. My newest love is introspective scrapbooking, with stories about me and my everyday life.

What I Like to Make

Traditionally I have been an 8.5 x 11 scrapbooker, but I’ve lately loved 6 x 8! For art journaling I will use everything from 4 x 4 to 8 x 10 and everywhere in between. Love a small field-notes sized book for Daily Pages, and have enjoyed making DIY albums of all sizes with binder rings, or traveler’s notebook sizes. I’m realizing that art and scrapbooking do not have to fit a particular mold, and loving it! I love using photos and patterned paper, stickers and stamps for scrapbooking and daily pages, and all sorts of mixed media for art journaling.

✨ Donna

Location: Washington, USA

About Me

I was born and raised and still reside in Shelton, Washington. I make cards, minibooks, and Daily Pages. My style is bold and graphic with a little bit of junk journaling thrown in. I’m also a quilter and enjoy knitting and crocheting.

What I Like to Make

I usually use a 6″x8″ album with and without page protectors, but also enjoy making handmade notebooks to use for my Daily Pages. I like to make theme albums, such as travel, pets, and garden inspired.

✨ Garance

Location: France

About Me

I am French and live in Lille, north of the country. I use my creativity in different ways: at work I create participating workshops and ways to engage colleagues into the company’s strategy. In my leisures, I write (I am the proud author of a self development book), draw, and have a special vibe with collage.

What I Like to Make

I like to work on a 20×14 cm page, not too small so my collage pictures fit and not too big so to avoid the blank page syndrome. I like to illustrate meaningful sentences and quotes that I come across during the day.

✨ Jessy

Location: Virginia

About Me

21 years ago I stepped into my first scrapbooking store and began this life long love I have with pretty paper. I am pushing myself now to document all of the little things that are a part of my life and not just the big events. Turns out, life can be pretty magical when you take the time to really observe it. I have a stressful full time job and the threshold of my scrapbook room is where I try to leave all of that behind and give myself much needed me time. I am so freaking excited to be a part of the ALP Team. I am very passionate about the impact that documenting yourself can really be life changing! Let’s do it together

✨ Jacqueline

Location: Canada

About Me

I’m a teacher from Western Canada. I make scrapbooks and cards. I’m also working on my second afghan and my first quilt. My style is pretty traditional: photo centric with journaling.

What I Like to Make

I started out with traditional 12×12 layouts that documented all my photos chronologically. I also do 6×8 albums for projects like December Daily, Week in the Life, and OLW. My Daily Pages notebooks are a variety of sizes all the way from 3.5×5 to 8.25×6.

✨ Judy

Location: Washington, USA

About Me

I’m from Spokane, located in Eastern Washington state. My family describes me as crafty, artsy and a hobby jumper. I crochet, make cold processed soap, cook and have been documenting life off and on in some way since my mom gave me her Brownie Kodak camera when I was 8 and my grandmother gave me a blank 12×18 inch scrapbook about 48 years ago.

What I Like to Make

I scrapbook digitally and with paper. I like to incorporate my love for photography, capturing history, genealogy, drawing and painting into my pages. I’ve found that formats smaller than 8″x8″ work best for me. My style runs the gambit depending on what I am documenting, but most often, I would say that I lean toward a more distressed look.

✨ Kinjal

Location: England

About Me
I’m an intersectional feminist scrapper currently living London who loves to make scrapbook pages with small pockets of time, and make time feel longer through the small act of scrapbooking.

What I Like to Make

I do a variety of projects throughout the year, including physical 6×8 albums where I documents my daily life, and digital photo books, but you’ll most likely find me with my favourite project, Daily Pages!

✨ Kristin B.

Location: California, USA

About Me
I’m a Northern California gal and my creative approach is JOY — bring on the bright colors, hope and whimsy! Patterned paper, stickers, washi tape and markers are my go-to’s. My earliest crafting memory is of my 6th grade teacher calling me “Kristin BOOM BOOM Burns” in front of the entire class because we had finished an art project and I had left scissors, glue and construction paper bits all over my desk. If only Mrs. Frost could see me (and my craft desk) now!

What I Like to Make
I like the constraints and immediacy of Daily Pages, weekly/monthly planner pages and theme challenges because they focus my decision making and don’t carry the same weight/pressure as a “forever” legacy-type page or project. Though let’s be honest, I get excited thinking about making chunky Christmas albums any time of year, especially if new theme kits are involved. 🙂 I love to draw in Procreate and have been dipping my toe into digital pages recently — I have a lot of digital papers that need love!

✨ Laura Allen

Location: Florida, USA

About Me
Toronto via the Bahamas to Central Florida. My go-to vibe is collage, I get inspiration from an image and see where it takes me. I love layers and texture and depth, experimenting with new supplies or techniques, digging deeper in my journaling. I make a daily page or art journal page daily-ish and also love zines and artist trading cards.

What I Like to Make
My daily pages notebooks range in size from 3.5×5.5 to 8.5×11, depending on the spread I move from notebook to notebook. I love adding my own photos and using filters/editing and experimenting, I’m getting better at including selfies. Ephemera collages with bits of my day are my favorite to arrange — the story is captured in the tiniest details. I save Everything and finding the just right spot on a page for a library book receipt or a canceled stamp from happy mail brings me an insane amount of delight & joy!
