In late 2012, I was playing around with the idea of a weekly journaling introspective. After a bunch of brainstorming and a lot of note-taking, I came up with The Currently Journaling Challenge.
The idea behind the challenge was to take five minutes each week and write down what was going on in my right-now life. I wanted to keep it simple, yet appealing enough to come back to on a regular basis.
The Currently List Journaling Challenge uses the same seven one-word prompts each week. To make the challenge even easier, I created a simple journaling card, which you can now download totally free, with the prompts already listed. Each week I grab a card and spend just a few minutes filling it out.
There’s no right or wrong way to do the Currently Journaling Challenge! I fill out a physical journaling card each week, but there are lots of other Currently List journalers who put their own twist on the challenge and make it work for them.
The goal of the Currently List Journaling Challenge to spend five minutes telling your right-now story — how you do it is totally up to you.
